A 28-year-old Kanturk man has been convicted of manslaughter arising out of a single punch to a 65-year-old local at a bar in the town in 2016.

The jury of nine men and three women took three hours and 41 minutes to return with a verdict of guilty to the single count of manslaughter, also known as unlawful killing.
