A judge has refused to lift a ban from Dublin city centre’s south-side that was imposed on a 14-year-old boy accused of going on a shopping spree with a stolen bank card.

A judge has refused to lift a ban on a 14-year-old boy from entering Dublin city centre’s south-side which was imposed on him after he was accused of going on a shopping spree with a stolen bank card.

The boy, who cannot be named because he is a minor, was charged with stealing a mobile phone worth €775 and a bank card from a person on Harcourt Street, in the city centre, on August 11.
