DPP seeking Forsey retrial for corruption

The DPP is seeking a retrial, on public interest grounds, of former Fine Gael town councillor Fred Forsey Jr on corruption charges.

The application is opposed by Mr Forsey. The Supreme Court, after hearing both sides yesterday, will give its ruling on December 21.
