Waterford's Kirsten Mate Maher named 2018 Rose of Tralee
They might have fallen at the final hurdle for an All-Ireland in 2017, but Waterford’s Kirsten Mate Maher was crowned the Rose of Tralee for 2018.
One of the favourites to win the crown, Kirsten was nonetheless lost for words when her name was called.
