Gardaí missing targets to 'a considerable extent' as crime detection rates fall again

Crime detection rates have fallen for the second year in a row, according to two new reports issued by the Policing Authority today.

According to the body, there has been "considerable policing success in disrupting organised crime" yet detection rates are continuing to fall.
