Man recovering following a 'sudden, uncontrolled release of gas' near Dublin Port

A man is recovering after a sudden, uncontrolled release of gas near Dublin Port.

It happened on Wednesday during a training exercise involving a truck which runs on compressed natural gas.

A technician sustained a minor facial injury and was treated at the scene.

Gas Networks Ireland says it is cooperating with the investigation process.
