One-third of vehicles broken into are unlocked, gardaí reveal

One-third of all vehicles broken into in residential areas had been left unlocked by the owner, An Garda Síochána said this morning.

Gardaí are today appealing to motorists to "park smart" in an effort to help reduce crime.
