Galway Film Fleadh stages world premiere of "In the Name of Peace: John Hume in America"

The World Premiere of a feature documentary that tells the compelling story of Nobel Laureate John Hume’s successful pursuit of peace in Northern Ireland through his co-operation with senior politicians in the United States has taken place at the Galway Film Fleadh today.

The screening was followed by a panel discussion featuring the director Maurice Fitzpatrick, former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and South Belfast MLA Claire Hanna.
