Gardaí question motive behind letter claiming missing Wicklow man Barry Corcoran was murdered

Detectives trying to solve the disappearance of a man two years ago have called into question the motive of a letter writer who claimed he had been murdered.

Barry Corcoran, from Wicklow town and the unemployed father of a young girl, was last seen on July 6, 2015, after going to a friend's house in Ballyfermot, Dublin.
