A 51-year-old man was injured in a stabbing in Dublin last night.

A 51-year-old man was injured in a stabbing in Dublin last night.

It happened at Sackville Place shortly before 10pm.

Emergency services found him with what appeared to be a knife wound to his stomach, and brought him to the Mater Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí are investigating.
