Court jails two men for nailing man to kitchen floor with nail-gun in 'depraved and barbaric' assault
Two Limerick men who pleaded guilty to a "depraved and barbaric" assault during which a 53-year-old man was nailed to a kitchen floor have both been jailed for three years.
The victim, Dan Quilligan, resident of Rathkeale in County Limerick, told the Special Criminal Court that he "thought he was going to be killed".
