Ibrahim Halawa's family appeals to Government to pressure Egypt for his release

"Three years are gone from my brother's life. I don’t know how long it will take the Government to realise this has gone on for too long and they have to take action."

The family of imprisoned Dubliner Ibrahim Halawa has urged the Taoiseach to increase pressure on the Egyptian President to pardon the student.

President El-Sisi has recently released around 80 young people who were being held in Egypt's jails.
