Update: Garda Commissioner orders all Gardaí to report for duty on first day of strike
The Garda Commissioner has written to all Gardaí directing them to report for duty on Friday.
Nóirín O'Sullivan has issued the letter 'in order to ensure a guaranteed policing service and maintaining the security of the State so as to protect and support communities'.
