Three women and a man have been injured during an altercation in Co Antrim.

It happened in the Main Street area of Toome during the early hours of Monday morning.

Four teenagers - two males aged 17 and 19 and two females also 17 and 19 - were arrested on suspicion of assault and are in custody assisting police with their inquiries.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokesman appealed for anyone with information to contact detectives at Antrim on 101.

Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
