Gardaí investigate after two men, armed with hammers, rob shop in Louth

Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery at a shop in County Louth.

It happened at around 9.30pm last night, when two men armed with hammers threatened staff at the shop in Louth village and demanded cash.

They fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured.
