Elderly man dies in Wexford house fire

Update 1.50pm: A man in his 70s has died after a house fire in Wexford.

The man was the only person in the house at the time and Gardaí are not treating it as suspicious.

Earlier: Emergency services are at the scene of house fire in Wexford.

It is understood the blaze broke out at a house in Clonroche earlier this morning.

Gardaí and fire fighters are currently at the scene.

There are no further details at this stage.
