Parents are being advised to avoid certain teething tablets or gels that could be dangerous for children.

The Health Products Regulatory Authority says some homeopathic tablets or gels manufactured in the US are not licensed for use or retail sale here - however, the unlicensed products may be advertised and available to buy online.
