Six politicians have appeared in the Dáil today wearing Repeal the 8th jumpers

Update: 3.13pm: The Taoiseach has defended the Citizens' Convention on abortion - saying it's "not a black and white issue".

Update 4.30pm: Queries have been raised about the Dail's dress code after six TDs wore sweaters with a slogan calling for repeal of the 8th Amendment.

The TDs from the Anti-Austerity Alliance-People Before Profit wore the jumpers during the first Leaders' Questions of the new term.
