Siptu warns of 'long and damaging' strike at Dublin Bus

Dublin Bus services will terminate on Wednesday night because of planned industrial action by drivers.

Update 2.50pm: Siptu have warned of a "a long and damaging" industrial strike because of the "intransigence" of management and the Department of Transport.

Siptu Transport, Energy, Aviation and Construction Division Organiser, Owen Reidy, said: “Unless the approach of management and the officials at the Department of Transport changes radically, Dublin Bus would seem to be set for a long and damaging period of industrial strife.
