Latest: Police on the Spanish island of Majorca are understood to be hunting a number of possible assailants following the shooting of an Irish man in an area called Costa de la Calma.

Update 12.30am: Police on the Spanish island of Majorca are understood to be hunting a number of possible assailants following the shooting of an Irish man in an area called Costa de la Calma.

Local reports say the victim, a man in his thirties, was with members of his family when the shooting happened.
