Gardaí continue to question man in connection with Kilkenny hit-and-run

A man remains in Garda custody this morning in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Co Kilkenny.

The crash happened at around 1am yesterday morning on the Piltown Bypass near Fiddown, when a car collided with another car.

The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second vehicle left the scene.

A 53-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon and taken to Thomastown Garda Station for questioning.
