TD calls for rickshaw regulation 'as a matter of urgency'

Sinn Féin spokesperson for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Imelda Munster, has today called for the regulation of city rickshaws.

The TD for Louth/Meath East and raised the point that there is no legislation or regulation of these vehicles, with rickshaw operators essentially being classed as cyclists - despite the fact that they carry passengers and work on a commercial basis.
