Man killed, woman seriously hurt, in Tipperary crash

A man in his 70s has died in a crash in Borrisokane Tipperary.
The man died when his car collided with another car at Fortmoy Cross at about a 5.15pm yesterday evening. He was the only occupant of the car.
The female driver of the second car is in a serious condition in Limerick University Hospital.
The road remains closed to allow an examination of the scene.
