Family of Belfast woman murdered by IRA to challenge exclusion ruling

The family of a Belfast woman murdered by the IRA have announced plans to challenge the decision to exclude the case - from investigations into a top British Spy.

A high court judge has granted leave for Caroline Moreland's relatives to apply for a judicial review.

They want the circumstances of her death to be included in a major probe in to the activities of Stakeknife - an agent who has been linked to 50 deaths.

Mr Justice Colton ruled that police are legally obligated to include her case in their major investigation.

The woman went missing in Belfast on the second of July 1994 - her body was discovered in County Fermanagh 15 days later.

No one has ever been prosecuted for her murder.
