Workers Party to launch proposal for 'more financially viable' social housing plan

A new housing proposal recommends the State would rent 50% of homes in certain developments to households who qualify for social housing, and the rest to those who are not eligible.

The Workers Party is launching a policy document "Solidarity Housing" today, which highlights current failures in the system, in terms of quality, affordability and security of tenure.
