Two charged in connection with murder of Paul McCauley in Derry
Detectives investigating the murder of Paul McCauley in Derry in 2006 have charged two men.
The 38-year-old died last June in a care facility almost nine years after the attack on Chapel Road on July 15 2006.
This evening a 28-year-old man was charged with murder, grievous bodily harm and attempted grievous bodily harm and will appear in court tomorrow.
A 61-year-old man arrested in the UK yesterday has been charged with withholding information and will appear in court on May 4.
And a 27-year-old man has been released on bail pending a report being submitted to the PPS.
One man has already been charged with Paul's murder and another reported to the PPS.
