14 vehicles seized during midlands operation targeting vehicle thefts

Fourteen vehicles have been seized during an operation in the midlands.

They were recovered as part of an operation targeting the theft of vehicles in the Granard and Longford districts.

Gardaí, revenue officers and Department of Social Protection personnel were involved.

Thirteen suspected stolen vans and one caravan were seized, along with what gardaí are calling a large amount of documentary evidence.

No arrests were made.
