Trial told alleged rapist apologised a week after incident

A woman has told the trial of a man accused of raping her during a lock-in at a Limerick city bar that he apologised to her a week later.

Under cross-examination today, she claimed he also showed her photos of his wife and children and insisted he “wasn’t that kind of man”.
