Gardaí make arrest in €500k drugs raid

Gardaí have seized a large quantity of heroin and cocaine in Dublin.

Gardaí from Ronanstown Drugs Unit and the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau found the drugs at a house in Clondalkin last night in an operation targeting organised crime in west Dublin.

They discovered 3kgs of heroin and 1kg of cocaine with a combined estimated street value of €500,000, pending analysis.

They also found what is believed to be mixing agent and arrested a 24-year-old man.

He is being held at Ronanstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
