Villiers: Islamic extremists could benefit from the North’s classified files

Islamic extremists could benefit from classified information the UK Government is striving to withhold from families bereaved in the North’s Troubles, Theresa Villiers has warned.

The North’s Secretary made the case for preventing disclosure of certain files on national security grounds as she called on politicians to re-commit to resolving a dispute that has endangered a £150m package of measures designed to tackle the toxic legacy of the conflict.
