Man arrested in connection with number of robberies

A man has been arrested in connection with a number of robberies in Limerick city on Monday morning.

Four young men - an 18-year-old and three juveniles - reported separate incidents of robberies on Athlunkard Street between 7.50am and 8.15am.

No one was injured.

A 20-year-old man was arrested close to the scene.

He is being held at Mayorstone Park Garda Station.
