IMO 'saddened' after reports of patient refusing treatment from two Muslim doctors

The Irish Medical Organisation says it is "saddened and concerned" at reports that a patient was refusing treatment by two doctors in Tallaght Hospital on the basis of the doctors' religion.

A woman was to be treated by a female consultant in Dublin who was wearing a hijab, but she asked the doctor if she was a Muslim.
