Two men are due in court in Dublin today charged in connection with a large drugs seizure at Newlands Cross on Wednesday.

Two men are due in court in Dublin today charged in connection with a large drugs seizure at Newlands Cross on Wednesday.

Around €600,000 worth of heroin was found when two cars were stopped and searched at Newlands Cross.

A further €300,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis herb were found during follow-up searches in Dublin and Kildare.

Three men were arrested and two, aged 34 and 40, will appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.

The third man, aged 22, was released without charge.
