Man to appear in court in connection with fatal road crash

A man is due in court in Co Kildare today charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Nurney yesterday evening.

A 25 year old man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a van on the Nurney to Kildare road at Walterstown Cross at around 6.15pm.

The driver of the van and his male passenger were uninjured.

A 35 year old man was arrested following the collision.

He is due before Naas District Court charged with road traffic offences.
