Post mortem due on body of pensioner swept away in floods

A post mortem is due to be carried out on a body swept away by flood water in Co Monaghan.

Ivan Vaughan from Co Tyrone was discovered meters away from his vehicle on Sunday night.

The pensioner was returning from a concert in Gaslough when his car was swept off the road.

The former showband singer famously performed with the Plattermen in the 60's and 70's under the stage name Simon Scott.
