Shane Ross: Current system puts independents at a disadvantage

The founder of the Independent Alliance has tabled his own law which would allow the name of the group to appear on ballot papers.

The founder of the Independent Alliance has tabled a Bill which would allow the name of the group to appear on ballot papers.

Dublin South TD Shane Ross said that the law does not allow the word "Independent" to appear on ballot papers, and needs to be changed.
