Car used in attempted murder of PSNI officers was stolen from Meath

The PSNI says a car used in the attempted murder of police officers in Belfast this week had been stolen from County Meath.

On Thursday evening a gunman opened fire on two police officers, their vehicle was struck eight times, but both escaped injury.
