Overturned truck closes Port Tunnel

Dublin's Port Tunnel is still closed in both directions after a truck overturned this morning.

UPDATE (1.40pm): Both bores are now open in the Dublin Port Tunnel and the five-axle ban on the city centre is back in force.

It happened in the northbound bore, but emergency services were using the southbound bore to access the site.

The ban on five-axle trucks was lifted in Dublin city centre as a result of the tunnel closure.
