Fourth Global Irish Economic Forum begins today

Delegates from 40 countries are taking part in the fourth Global Irish Economic Forum.

The event, will bring together more than 300 Irish and Irish-connected figures from around the world, to place their part in encouraging Ireland's economic recovery.

It is the first Global Irish Economic Forum since Ireland exited the bailout programme.

The three day conference, begins today with regional meetings in Galway, Limerick, Laois and Derry.

The Global Irish Economic Forum is organised by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
