Government to consider proceedings with IBRC report tomorrow

It is expected the government will consider the interim report of the inquiry into IBRC at cabinet tomorrow.

The report will form part of the Government's decision on how to proceed with the investigation after judge Brian Cregan said he had run into issues with confidentiality and legal privilege.

However, it is not expected the government will make a decision on how to deal with these issues tomorrow.

The report is likely to be published in the coming days.
