Dublin Fire Brigade: one 999 call every 40 seconds on Halloween night
The Dublin Fire Brigade processed 700 calls this Halloween, answering one 999 report every 40 seconds, they also attended 193 bonfires.
Last night16.00-08.00 our control centre processed 700 calls, most fire calls to bonfires & related incidents, 280 amb calls, all crews safe

In Balbriggan, one ambulance was hit with a bottle during a call-out.

None of the crew were hurt but the vehicle was put off the road for the night.
