200 jobs as Munster nursing home group Carechoice expands to Dublin

Two hundred jobs are being created at a new nursing home in north Dublin.
Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton has welcomed the new positions at the Carechoice nursing home on the Malahide Road.
The 165-bed facility has vacancies for nurses, health care assistants, management, and catering staff.
The Carechoice retirement and nursing home group was sold last December to UK private equity firm Emerald Investments for a figure understood to exceed €30m.
The group currently operates five nursing homes and retirement villages in Cork and Waterford - in Cork City, Clonakilty , Macroom and in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
