Group of homeless people continue occupation of showhouse

A group of homeless people is continuing an occupation of a show house in Blanchardstown this morning.

They took over the property in Ongar on Saturday afternoon in protest over the housing crisis across the country.

They have vowed to stay as long as they can in the house, and are urging the Government to take immediate action on the issue.

A similar demonstration was held recently at a Nama-owned property in Dublin.
