Fota cheetah cubs named after public competition
Fota Wildlife Park in Cork have named two new cheetah cubs after a public competition to name them.
They were named Gambella and Manovo after two national parks in Africa where cheetahs can be found.
The two cubs were born at the end of July and are the 180th & 181st cheetahs to have been bred in Fota.
The names were chosen by Aaron Lowe from Blessington in Co Wicklow.
