Missing Cork woman found safe and well
A Cork woman who went missing over the weekend has been found safe and well.
The family of 37-year-old Niamh Brickley, from Pearse Road, Ballyphehane, reported her missing on Saturday, sparking a coordinated search effort by her loved ones.
She was last seen at 4am on the morning of Saturday, September 5, and her worried family alerted gardaí.
Niamh was found safe and well in the early hours of this morning in east Cork.
Her family told the Evening Echo that the efforts of hundreds of people to share her photo on social media was invaluable and they were incredibly appreciative of the public's help.
They also said Gardaí in Togher and in particular Sergeant Brendan Barry Murphy, had done a wonderful job in liaising with them throughout the ordeal.
