ASTI members to vote on Junior Cert reform
Members of the Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland are to vote on reform of the Junior Cert.
The central executive of the union has held a meeting today and has decided to put the latest proposals to a ballot of its 18,000 members.
It comes after the TUI said yesterday that it would recommend its membership accept the reforms.
If follows a series of one-day work stoppages at schools around the country in the last academic year.
