SIPTU members of Dublin Fire Brigade vote for strike action

SIPTU members of Dublin Fire Brigade have voted for industrial action - up to and including a strike - as a row over recruitment escalates.

The union said fire officers and the public have been exposed to increased and unacceptable levels of risk because the Brigade is severely understaffed.
