Searchers suspend operation to locate missing tourist off Kerry coast

The search for a tourist who was swept out to sea yesterday in Kerry has been suspended for the night.

The Chinese man had been fishing around Kerry Head when a wave swept him off the rocks.

Several units of the coastguard and about 40 people were involved in the search today.

It will resume around 7am tomorrow morning, with conditions for the search expected to improve somewhat.
