Three men set for court after Longford firearm and drugs seizures

Three men are due in court charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Longford earlier this week.

Three men are due in court charged in connection with a drugs seizure and a firearm find in Longford earlier this week.

A man in his early 30s was detained after a shotgun and ammunition were found by Gardaí during the search of a house in Ballymahon on Monday.

Two other men were arrested after €30,000 worth of cannabis plants and cultivation equipment were found in a second house in the same area.

The three men are due before Sligo District Court this afternoon.
