Woman's body found in Louth house

Gardaí are investigating after the body of a woman was found at a house near Hackballscross in Co Louth.

The woman, who is understood to have suffered head injuries, was found by a family member at about 3.45pm this afternoon.

The scene has been sealed off and the state pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí say they are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
